At Tennessee Cabin Co., we’re passionate about creating a welcoming space for the whole family — including your furry ones. We know how difficult it can be to find truly pet-friendly accommodations, so we’ve worked to make it easy.

Most of our cabins are pet-friendly, allowing you to bring your pets along for the adventure 🐶🐱

Since each property is a little different, we kindly ask that guests bringing pets choose one of our designated pet-friendly cabins. This helps ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for you, your pet, and all of our guests.

A: Absolutely! Most of our cabins are pet-friendly, and we’re always happy to host your four-legged family members. Since each property is a little different, please refer to the individual listing for its specific pet policy.

Q: Are there any size restrictions for pets?
A: Not at all! Big dogs, small dogs — all are welcome in our pet-friendly cabins.

Q: Is there a deposit required for pets?
A: Yes, a refundable deposit is required at check-in for our pet-friendly cabins. This deposit covers damages or cleaning beyond standard expectations. Examples of excessive situations include:

  • Pet hair or odors requiring deep cleaning of furniture or carpets.

  • Stains or messes that cannot be removed with routine cleaning.

  • Damage to furniture, linens, or cabin amenities caused by pets.

  • Presence of fleas, ticks, or other pests requiring professional extermination.

If no issues arise, your deposit will be fully refunded at check-out. Should any deductions be necessary, we will provide a detailed explanation and any supporting photos promptly.

Q: Can my dog roam freely in the cabin while I’m away?
A: Yes, your dog can roam freely inside the cabin while you’re away. However, you’re responsible for any damages, noise, or complaints that may result.

Q: Are there any rules for pets while outdoors?
A: Yes, pets must be leashed or kept close to you while outdoors to ensure their safety and the comfort of other guests.

Q: What are my responsibilities as a pet owner during my stay?
A: Pet owners are responsible for the following:

  • Cleaning up after your pet and properly disposing of waste.

  • Ensuring your pet does not cause excessive barking or noise complaints.

  • Supervising your pet at all times to prevent disturbances.

  • Covering the cost of any damages caused by your pet, including replacement of linens, furniture, or fees for deep cleaning due to odors, fleas, or ticks.

Q: Are there any potential risks for my pet in the area?
A: Because our cabins are in a rural, country setting, there is a chance of encountering stray or lost dogs and wild animals. We recommend being cautious when taking your pet outside and ensuring they do not interact with unfamiliar animals to avoid injury or altercations.

 

Q: Do you charge extra cleaning fees for pets?
A: Some of our cabins include a small pet cleaning fee, while others do not. Regardless of the fee, all of our pet-friendly cabins are thoroughly cleaned after each stay to ensure a fresh and welcoming space for every guest—human or furry. Any pet fees will be clearly listed during the booking process.
